CIMS2000

Description

CIMS2000 ("Configurable Instrumentation Management System") is a PC- based, configurable system that helps managing Instrumentation & Electrical related information and documentation for the whole plant life cycle (new projects, "As-built", maintenance, etc.)
The application developed by TotalSoft in co-operation with Ludan is unique in the sense that it was designed to be a configurable software system. It enables a trained engineer (without requiring programming software knowledge) to configure the system for each specific company, project or plant requirements. Unlike "closed" software packages that require the users to work to the software package rules, CIMS2000 provides users (after carrying out configuration to their specific needs) the ability to work to their own rules, standards and habits.

Due to its technical merits, world-class companies like: Solvay, Rhodia, Monsanto selected CIMS2000 as their corporate standard.

Leading worldwide Plant Design Software companies like Bentley Systems Inc. and CEA Technologies acknowledged also its qualities and openness and decided to work together with CIMS and to incorporate its successful instrumentation engineering and related plant documentation maintenance into their existing suite of products.
