Primavera Project Planner for Windows 2.0
Course 601 / Planning & Scheduling With P3 (P3 2.0 Basic)
Getting started with P3 through hands-on basic training. Participants will gain a thorough background in the concepts of planning and scheduling while learning P3. This course leads you through 10 hands-on workshops that create and track an entire project to completion using the three basic elements of project management: schedule, resources and costs. Scheduling techniques will be covered. Prerequisite: No prior knowledge of Primavera is necessary. A working knowledge of Windows is required. 5 Days
Course 602 / Resource and Cost Analysis (P3 2.0 Costs)
In this course you will gain full advantage of driving resources, resource curves, hierarchical resources, resource profiles/tables and resource leveling. Learn Resource calendars for planning and control and rich text format reports for status reporting. Participants will develop, update and track resources and costs using a series of hands-on workshops. Prerequisite: Course 601, Planning & Scheduling with P3 2.0 2 Days
Course 603 / Managing Project Data (P3 2.0 Advanced)
This hands-on course is aimed at the experienced P3 user. You will go beyond the fundamentals of scheduling a project-transferring project data by cutting/pasting. you will explore fragnets, global change, custom data items and in-depth PERT as well as set up P3 to E-mail project data. You will be going through workshops every step of the way to see for yourself that P3 is more than a scheduling program. You will become proficient at using the power of P3 for maximum control of your projects. Prerequisite: Course 601, Planning & Scheduling with P3 2.0 2 Days
Course 604 / Managing Project Data (P3 2.0 Advanced)
This one day reports course provides you with an overview of the tabular and graphical reporting capabilities in P3. You will be creating schedule reports, resource and cost reports as well as P3 presentation quality graphics. Hands-on workshops will provide you the framework for each type of report and graphic. 1 Day
