The application can be run using as database servers Oracle 8 Enterprise Server, Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere 6.0 and Informix Dynamic Server.

Integrated software system that provides the management of a distribution company with real time activity updates.

    Description
    This application was developed to support the complex activity of a health care center's. The system is dedicated for the activity of the health care investigation center including the patient evidence, results storage and financial performance SICAM provides the following features:
  • storing patients' records and anamnesis;
  • tracking of the analyses and investigations demands for each patient;
  • invoice recording and printing;
  • setting of analyses profiles for medical investigation
  • keeping invoices' payment condition;
  • automatically or manual analyses' results filing-in;
  • computing derived results based on defined formulas;
  • setting normal results ranges;
  • abnormal results highlighting;
  • statistical and managerial reporting;
  • password protected usage.
  • providing modem communication between centers by sending demands from one center to the other and receiving back the results;
  • interface with several analyses equipment.

    The patient fills an analysis demand form that is added by the office operator in the program's database. A new patient record is created if it is the first analysis demand, otherwise the patient demands list is retrieved and updated. Based on the analysis demand SICAM issues the invoice and the laboratory requests. The samples are examined into laboratories and the results are filled-in by the operator. Some analyses can be performed by special equipment provided with computer interface. In this case the medical equipment is connected via serial port to the computers network and the results are automatically downloaded into the database. The system provides specific protocols according to the medical equipment that is connected to. Finally, the analyses report is printed and delivered.

    SICAM can also print various managerial and medical reports that contain information about:
      - laboratory activity;
      - clinic activity
      - doctors' activity;
      - financial results;
      - statistical data of the analyses results.
